This week is less about any particular technique and more about being in the right place at the right time. Admittedly, the golden hour (shortly before sunset) is rarely the wrong time, but even so it's not every day that you get that dust mote look in the wild along with a composition and subject that all work together. It's also as good an opportunity as any to talk about foreground elements like that soft handrail in the front there, on one hand you could make the case to get rid of it for clarity, but I like it because it both gives a sense of depth, as well as adding a leading line to draw your attention into the frame and onto the woman.

(full disclosure, the dust motes catching the light were actually small flying bugs)
