Besides the challenge of physically getting to this spot in Watagans National Park, this was more of an exercise in editing than anything else. I wanted a bit of a matte look, but I wasn't happy with it until I made the haziness of the light more obvious, I think the two work well together. There was also some color tweaks, my camera has a tendency to pick up some unnatural aqua tones in among greenery so that had to be removed, along with fine tuning the balance of the yellows and greens. I'm quite happy with the end result, makes it feel like hauling all that camera gear through the bush was worth it.
