Halfway point! I have to admit, when I started this project I wasn't sure if I would actually be able to keep it up over the course of a whole year, so it's been nice to see that it's possible, even if they haven't exactly always been on time...

I refused to eat this pear until I had created art from it, since in my experience it's exceedingly rare to get one with a leaf still attached. A bit eccentric, perhaps, but I stand by it. It wasn't originally meant to be such dramatic lighting, but I couldn't maneuver the tripod to the right angle to do an HDR shot on it, so now it's pretty much another example of differential separation (see week 4).


I'm keen to see where we're at in another 26 weeks, thanks for being along for the ride so far.
