Seems a little early for spring blossoms, but the trees know their business better than I do, and I won't complain about further opportunities to capture new subject material.

I've been thinking a lot about depth in images lately, and with so many elements on different focal planes, this scene made for a good showcase of the principle.
It was surprisingly hard to find the sort of composition that I was after with so many buds and blossoms at all different angles. Still, it makes it all the more satisfying to get something with the right proportions in the foreground, in-focus plane, and background.
