I visited Prospect Reservoir for the first time recently. It wasn't a very good day for color images, the overcast sky meant the water was not very photogenic, so I thought a change to black and white might be the way to go. It generally helps emphasize textures, of which there are quite a few different kinds present here, between the sky, the water, the bridge and rampart latticework, and the different kind of trees on the shore. Abby walked in while I was writing this post and assumed I was reading a pre-existing article from somewhere, so she gave it an "editorial quality" endorsement, and I'm pretty happy to achieve that rating.
