This is also from Vivid 2022, in case that wasn't obvious. It's a detail of one of the corner supports for the installation, most of which was overhead. As you might have guessed, the lights shifted and changed pattern and color over time.

Shooting at Vivid requires a bit of a change in mentality since most of the time, instead of something lit from an external light source, a large portion of the installations are self-illuminating. One aspect of this is that the smaller the object gets, the harder it is to expose it while maintaining both color of the installation and the visibility of the surroundings.When I have to choose between them, I tend to opt for letting darkness swallow up the surroundings and just being left with the light and colors of the installation.
It tends to have a more dramatic look that way, usually without being too far off the visual reality of being there in person at night.
